Tim Fitzsimmons, the head trainer and director of Fitzsimmons Racing, brings decades of experience, passion, and success to the thoroughbred racing industry. With a career that spans both international and Australian racing, Tim has honed his craft under some of the most respected names in the sport, solidifying his reputation as a skilled and innovative trainer.

Tim’s journey began in his native Australia, where he worked with legendary trainers, including the iconic Bart Cummings, Cox Plate winning Greg Eurell, and prominent figures such as Jim Conlan and the esteemed operations of Lloyd Williams Racing. These formative years exposed him to the highest levels of the sport, instilling a strong foundation of knowledge and a commitment to excellence.

In 2010, Tim took his expertise overseas, spending 12 years in Singapore as the assistant trainer to renowned horseman Cliff Brown. During this time, he played a pivotal role in managing and developing a stable of world-class racehorses, contributing to numerous Group race victories and cultivating his unique training philosophy.

In 2019, Tim stepped out on his own in Singapore, establishing Fitzsimmons Racing. His dedication and skill were quickly rewarded. By 2022, in just his fourth year as a head trainer, Tim claimed the prestigious Singapore Trainers’ Premiership, a testament to his ability to compete and thrive at the highest level of the sport.

Now based in Bendigo, Victoria, Tim is excited to bring his expertise and winning formula back to Australian racing. With a hands-on approach, a focus on horse welfare, and a relentless pursuit of success, Tim Fitzsimmons Racing is committed to achieving exceptional results for every owner.
