After making the move to Bendigo in recent months, Fitzsimmons Racing is wasting no time settling in, with Golden Mile Race Day 2025 set to be a key milestone in our transition to the heart of the Goldfields.

Taking place on Saturday, 12 April 2025, Golden Mile Raceday is one of the biggest race days on the Bendigo Jockey Club calendar. For us, it’s more than just a race meeting—it’s an opportunity to cement our place in the local racing community while reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new ones. To celebrate, we’re inviting owners and friends to join us for an exclusive event in the Sailor Guide Bar, where they can enjoy a fantastic race-day experience, including food and drinks.

“The Bendigo Jockey Club, led by CEO Paul Scullie, has been fantastic to deal with since we first considered Bendigo for our training base,” Tim said. “They’ve been incredibly supportive, and we’re really looking forward to being part of such an important day for the club.”

Having spent years building a strong stable, Tim sees this event as a chance to show appreciation for the owners and supporters who have backed the journey so far.

“It’s always great to catch up with our owners and supporters, and a big day like this provides the perfect setting,” he said. “We’re also looking forward to meeting new people who might want to get involved with the stable. Golden Mile Day is a great introduction to what we’re all about.”

While the stable continues to settle in, there’s no doubt Fitzsimmons Racing is embracing Bendigo and everything it has to offer. Golden Mile Raceday may be just the beginning, but it’s already shaping up to be a significant moment in our story.
