At Fitzsimmons Racing, we are proud to base our operations at the iconic Bendigo Racecourse, affectionately known as the "Nursery of Champions." This prestigious venue has a rich history of producing exceptional racehorses and provides the ideal setting for us to deliver outstanding results for our owners.
Our stables are strategically located just across the road from Bendigo Racecourse, providing seamless and efficient access to its amazing facilities. This convenient proximity minimises stress for our horses, allowing them to focus entirely on their training and recovery.
Strategically located just 150km from Melbourne, Bendigo offers the perfect balance of access to Victoria’s premier metropolitan tracks and the benefits of a state-of-the-art regional training hub. The Club conducts regular jump-outs, trials, and a dedicated swimming pool ensure our horses receive comprehensive and varied training programs.
Amazing Access to Tracks
Our horses have access to the amazingly maintained tracks at the Bendigo Jockey Club, which includes access to the course proper, inside grass and three different sand tracks.
Proven Record of Winners
Our recently acquired stables, situated adjacent to the racecourse, feature 27 spacious stables. Hundreds of winners have been trained from these facilities that have been thoughtfully designed to prioritise the safety, comfort, and well-being of each horse, while enabling us to implement innovative training methods tailored to their unique needs. Our facilities also include an eight-horse walker and custom circular horse pool.

OUR SERVICES
Golden Mile Day at Bendigo Jockey Club on Saturday was a fantastic success and a proud milestone for Fitzsimmons Racing.
Our inaugural event brought together a strong crowd of owners, friends, and new faces who joined us in the Sailor Guide Bar for a memorable day on track. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of good energy — exactly the kind of day we were hoping to create.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came along and supported our first official event since relocating the stable to Bendigo. It was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and connect with new ones, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year — bigger and better.
A sincere thank you to all those who attended, and a special thanks to the Bendigo Jockey Club for their generous support and hospitality. The day ran smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner in making this event happen.
